Amorim Nature Infills are engineered from 100% natural cork, a renewable, ecological and fully recyclable material. Cork granules are sourced from sustainably managed cork oak forests, where bark harvesting is part of the species’ natural life cycle.

Verified environmental performance

An independent Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) performed by ITECons in accordance with EN ISO 14040/44 confirms the environmental credentials of Amorim Nature Infills. Using a cradle-to-gate approach (A1–A3), the study demonstrates that the high-density cork used in these infills delivers a net carbon benefit.

Carbon footprint results (per kg of product):

• Amorim Nature 130: –1.8 kg CO₂ eq.

• Amorim Nature 190: –1.77 kg CO₂ eq.

• Amorim Nature 250: –1.68 kg CO₂ eq.

These results underline the product’s contribution to lowering the overall carbon impact of artificial turf systems.

To be certified with the RAL quality mark means that:

• Amorim Sports cork infills and production processes are thereby externally monitored, without any prior notice, by an independent quality community and checked for their consistency and uniformity; 
• Amorim Sports cork infills comply with DIN-EN 15330-1;
• Amorim Sports cork infills comply with and are tested according to RAL-GZ 944 requirements;
• Amorim Sports cork infills are environmentally friendly (in compliance with all the RAL highly stringent requirements).

RAL Gütezeichen (Quality Marks) differ from other labels because the RAL quality assurance system guarantees that they are neutral and objective. In addition, the Quality Assurance Associations regularly check the Quality Assurance and Test Specifications and adapt them when necessary to new requirements and thereby keep the regulations up-to-date. RAL Gütezeichen (Quality Marks) are thus an independent, objective validation for quality assurance, which represent a consistently monitored level of quality.
