Amorim Infills applied for the first time in rugby pitches and mixed fields

Main Goal

A rugby pitch and three mixed rugby and football pitches, in various parts of France are the first turfs intended for rugby matches, with the application of Amorim Sports infills.

The projects were implemented by the French company, Eurofield, that specialises in artificial turf systems, and include a rugby pitch in Aulnay-sous-Bois, in the Paris region.

The remaining three pitches are located in Albi, Pau and Saint-Mihiel and are mixed pitches, which permit rugby and football to be played on the same pitch.

All the pitches comply with the European standard EN 15-330-1, the French standard NF P90-112 and the standards set by the World Rugby international federation.

The infill supplied by Amorim Sports for the various projects was Amorim Nature 130.

This 100% cork-based infill has the RAL GZ 944 quality certificate, which guarantees that it is an environmentally safe product in accordance with the strict quality standards set by the German Institute for Quality Assurance and Certification (Deutsches Institut für Gütesicherung und Kennzeichnung.
